Onesto

Italian restaurant with charm. Small dimly lit lounge with frescoes on all the walls, perfect if your partner loves Italian food. Pricey, but affordable. Very nice service, and a melting pot of languages (I have heard up to four distinct languages in the same room!) There is another lounge at the end of the restaurant which looks like a standard rural cantine, but the food is still good.

Kamakura

Very famed Japanese restaurant, I once tried to go without booking, but with no chance. They advised me to book nearly a week in advance. To be tested.

Meanwhile, there is a very nice Japanese in rue Notre Dame, quite small but very good, and without the snobbish look of Kamakura waiters.
